Alnico Magnet Production:

Alnico alloys are created through a casting process in which predefined amounts of the component metals are heated to a molten state. During the cooling and reheating processes, strong external magnetic fields are applied to the alloy while it is still semi-molten. A strong external magnetic field induces the domains of the forming alnico magnet into a desired orientation, giving the final product a specific magnetic field strength and direction.
